Why are Ex-Cameras needed?

Biogas plants are one of the most popular alternative energy sources - agricultural waste, silage and liquid manure are available at low cost.
The operation of a biogas plant is based on a simple biological principle: that of organic decomposition. After filling the fermenter with biomass, biogas is first produced through fermentation, and electricity and/or heat are usually generated in a second step. The gases produced are explosive and can be ignited by a spark. In order to operate the plants efficiently, they must be monitored. Using sight glasses, plant operators can look into the process via control rooms and make control decisions.

Biogas plants are not yet a mass product, but are manufactured by a wide variety of companies and are often adapted to the specific requirements of the operator and local conditions.
