On behalf of compamedia , the organizer of the competition, the innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and his team evaluated the innovative strength of all participants based on more than 100 criteria from five categories: innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success. "Are companies able to create new products, new services, new processes and new business models? And are these achievements just coincidences or the result of a structured and targeted approach? We examine these questions at TOP 100," says Nikolaus Franke, explaining his approach to the review. What is also important is how and whether new products and product improvements were able to establish themselves on the market.
SAMCON prevails in the scientific selection process and is therefore one of the top innovators. "We are very proud of this award and think we deserve it. Since we are working on a niche product away from the mass market and our customers' applications are very individual and special, we are constantly working on the implementation of new, advanced solutions in order to solve our customers' problems in the best possible way," says Steffen Seibert, Managing Director and Head of Development .
