Our newly developed spot finder thermography camera combines the advantages of a pyrometer (IR thermometer) with those of an IR camera. The ExCam XI80 is a powerful thermographic camera with an integrated infrared thermometer and auto focus and is ideally suited for the use in potentially explosive areas. It delivers infrared images at a temperature range of -20°C to 900°C. In addition, the thermal imaging camera has extensive analysis functions such as a thermal analysis with hot and cold spots. The ExCam XI80 does not only see where it is hot, it can also measure the exact temperature and all this in intervals of 8 milliseconds(Real Time Recording).
Thanks to the extremely robust housing, the camera is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, for the use in the chemical as well as in the oil and gas industry, it can be used at offshore and onshore plants, at mechanical engineering or at research and development sites... . It sees in absolute darkness, does not affect the measuring object, can detect moving objects as well as long, continuous measuring range. It allows measurements at high voltages and in aggressive media, can trigger an alarm when a certain temperature is below a certain value or exceeded ...
