What makes this camera so special?
With the RoughCam miniTube, an ultra compact, analog multisignal camera enters the market which is not only very economic but also robust and media resistant.
Despite its ultra compact size (diameter 48mm, length 127mm) the RoughCam miniTube offers FullHD resolution. With its weight of only 0.6kg the RoughCam miniTube is a real lightweight. Furthermore it is very cost-efficient.
1/2.8'' 2 Megapixel CMOS Sensor
Excellent Picture Quality, Very High Sensitivity, High Resolution Images. The newly developed 1/2.8" CMOS sensor results into a higher image quality. The RoughCam miniTube incorporates the CMOS sensor that offers highly improved sensitivity and colour reproduction compared to earlier sensors. In addition, the robust camera can operate with a minimum illumination of 0.01 lx, resulting in a significant improvement in image quality under limited lighting conditions. This explosion proof camera achieves a high resolution of 1080p (1920x1080) 25p/30p.
Day/Night Function
The RoughCam miniTube features a Day/Night capability, which provides optimum sensitivity in both day and night shooting applications. As the scene illumination darkens, the camera then switches to B&W mode enabling it to operate under a minimum illumination of 0.01lx (AGC, S/W).
Wide range of applications
Due to its very robust housing the camera is also suitable for indoor as well as for outdoor applications and can work under the hardest industrial conditions. And because of its ultra compact size it nearly fits everywhere.

There are 3 different lenses available from which the customer can chose - depending on the requirements of the application: wide, normal or tele.
